"Diamond in the Square" is the design most closely associated 

with the Lancaster County, PA Amish. 

This example, containing crepes as well as wools, 
was made late in the classic period, 1960 - 1970.

It is densely quilted in classic, elegant designs ~ including an eight-point Star in the center, surrounded by a feathered wreath, stylized flowers, and feathers in the outer borders.

Quilting is executed in fine stitching, 

measuring around 11 to the inch (counting one side only).

Excellent Condition.
