Measuring an ample 84 by 100 inches, this Bachelor's Patch
would have plenty of overhang on a modern Queen or King sized bed.
Wonderful 19th century printed cotton fabrics fill the blocks of this
circa 1870 pieced quilt.
The many beautiful prints, some of them manufactured earlier than 1870,
are set within a diagonal grid of rich printed green and framed
with triangles of a lovely Double Blue.
Typical of Pennsylvania German quilts, this quilt also has a printed back.
Well made ~ precisely pieced and nicely hand quilted
and separately bound. Flat and lightweight.
