Estimating dates of solid colored cottons is always challenging...
We're guessing that this exuberant quilt was
made around the time of the American Centennial, 1876...
It was a 19th century quilt top which has recently been converted to a "summer quilt" ~
backed and bound, and ready to use or hang.
Zillions of pieces, almost all of them Red-White-Blue.
Perfect to use for Fourth of July, right?
In Very Good Condition.
Love that Center!
A vibrant, quilted version of the Star Spangled Banner!
