Includes two introductions and five essays by a variety of scholars. Authors include the co-curators of this seminal exhibition -- Pat Ferrero, Julie Silber and Linda Reuther -- as well as essays published only here by the esteemed textile historians, Elaine Hedges and Rachel Maines.

Full color photographs of some very rare quilts elsewhere unpublished as well as black & white historic photographs.

This rare volume is now long out of print. It was printed only once, in a printing of 2,200 copies. We have a very limited number of unused copies, signed by all three curators.
