The WHOLE TRUTH:

Overlooked Masterpiece Quilts

American history is far more than a series of political events. It is also the real story of ordinary people. We now know that aspects of this fascinating story can be told through looking closely at quilts, at the women who made them, and at the people who lived with them.

But the quilts of some women, and some American sub-groups have long been ignored, overlooked, or trivialized. This lecture means to include and celebrate the wonderful quilts made by African American women, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans.

We’ll also take a close look at quilts made by Hawaiians, and the Pennsylvania Dutch, including the Amish.

Eye opening!
