We had this beauty professionally washed
because it had some surface dirt, but it is in otherwise MINT CONDITION
with no wear, tears, holes stains of fading. The fabric is strong and completely intact.
Fresh and clean and ready to go.
It would make a *Perfect Gift* ~ Wedding, Anniversary, Graduation!
This mid-20th century applique quilt is beautifully designed ~
a lovely Mountain Mist pattern.
Superb needlework,
with fine hand applique and excellent hand quilting
executed at an impressive 10 stitches per inch, counting one side only.
The skilled quilt maker's quilting designs are dense and inventive; they beautifully enhance
the pieced and appliqued center design.
This woman used all high quality cottons in lovely colors of
solid red, (deep) salmon, and (Jadite) green,
all combined with the sparkle of the printed red dotted cotton.
