About our Exhibitions:

Whether you are looking for a small, specialized exhibition, a larger show of rare and priceless early quilts, or a show designed specifically for your venue, The Quilt Complex can create a unique and complete educational exhibition package.

The Quilt Complex is the exclusive representative of some of the most spectacular quilt collections in the country. We offer access to collections rarely seen in public, as well as thematic programs that have received limited showings and high international acclaim.

Our exhibitions come to you fully supported. Each exhibition includes full insurance, pre-printed promotional, informational and interpretive materials – and a knowledgeable staff to oversee the preparation and mounting of exhibits.

In addition to helping with the installation, one of our principals can do pre-show publicity, docent training, and provide a first rate lecture around the time of your opening

We can also work with you on your own quilt collection, and help with organizing it into a complete form, ready for exhibiting.

Our exhibitions are organized by Julie Silber, who has curated two of the most respected quilt exhibitions of modern times -- those at The Oakland Museum and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Since 1982 Julie has been the permanent Curator of Esprit de Corp’s internationally known quilt collections.
