A Trunk Show of Rare and Historic Quilts

As a collector herself -- and the caretaker of several major quilt collections, Julie owns or has access to some of the greatest antique quilts ever made. If your group is within driving distance to San Francisco, Julie will carry a “museum quality” quilt exhibition to your meeting. Many of these quilts are so rare that members of your guild may never have the opportunity to see the like again in person. Examples may include Baltimore Album Quilts, Pre-Civil War appliqué quilts, museum quality Amish quilts, quilts with thousands of tiny pieces, and rare pictorial quilts.

Julie shares her extensive knowledge of both textile and women’s history while the audience is enjoying a look at examples of some truly superb antique quilts.
