Quilts just don't get any more MINT than this "Ohio Star," also known as "Variable Star."
The all cotton fabrics in this quilt made well over 100 years ago, are both beautiful and in crisp condition, maintaining their wonderful original colors. Strong and sturdy with no fabric weakness.
The hand quilting is also extraordinary. The Star blocks are quilted in crosshatch or "hanging diamonds, and the alternate block in parallel diagonal lines. All the quilting measures about 9 small,even stitches per inch, counting one side only.
Quilt measures 74 x 82 inches,
Strong and sturdy ~ flat and lightweight.
