Such A "Clear" Quilt ...

This bright and cheery 1930's quilt has great color, is very well made,

and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Appears unused.

No wear, tears, fading, stains; the fabrics are strong and sturdy.

We recently had the quilt professionally washed because it had two very small, light stains.

So this beauty is fresh, bright and clean.

This quilt maker really knew what she was doing.

Her hand piecing is very precise, even with those difficult curved seams.

She added a pleasing white border, and chose to make scalloped edges,

which she bound separately with light yellow cotton.

This experienced and confident quilt maker

did a *bang-up job* of hand quilting, too.

She made charming stylized flowers inside the quilt and added multiple cable designs in the borders.

There's lots of quilting here, and she had a very small, even stitch.
