 1940s Grandmother's Flower Garden

Professionally washed and in EXCELLENT CONDITION,
this pleasing example of a popular mid-20th century quilt pattern
is distinguished by its solid orange centers and  white "outlines" !

The many colors in the beautiful Depression-era cotton prints and solids
are distributed in a nice, balanced way.

Some of the flowers are "fussy cut" ~ with the printed design cut
specifically to show the flower in the center of each hexagon.
(See pink flower below)

The quilt is beautifully made ~ precisely pieced and well hand quilted.

The quilt maker even applied a separate white cotton binding.
Wish I had that kind of patience and skill!

A beauty ready for your bed or wall.
