This unusual Crazy Quilt, made circa 1940, reminds us of
Hollywood in that era.

If we were going to make up a story about this one,
 it would involve scraps from costumes of 1940s Hollywood Glamor Gals...

Alas, we have no actual history on this, beyond that we bought it in Oregon
a couple of years ago.

In superb condition with no noted issues, this treasure ~
with its piano key ribbon borders and Bars back ~
sparkles its way to distinction.

Hand embroidered around the edges of every piece
of the exuberant fabrics set together in an unusual palette.
