OK, I may be stretching it to use the word "symbolic,"
but this mid 20th century quilt definitely has a Patriotic Look to it.
The red, white, & blue are all cotton fabrics.
The red and blue, being ginghams, give such a festive, sparkly feel!
It's a traditional "Hourglass" design, sometimes called "Bow Tie."
Machine quilted, making it very sturdy and useable.
Bed or wall... and just in time for Fourth of July!
Well made, with precisely matched corners; flat, square and lightweight.
