~ FRESH ~ and Fresh to the Market ~

We are calling this lightweight piece a "summer quilt
because it has no batting/filler.

Nonetheless, it is finely and densely hand quilted
at an impressive 8 - 9 stitches per inch (counting one side only.)

Also hand appliqued with a sampling of designs  ~
some traditional/floral types ...

plus two wonderful appliqued borders of birds and six point stars.

(Birds: the rarely seen "Chubby-Giant-Footed Aqua-Wing.")
Each bird has an embroidered eye.

Excellent Clean Condition.

Separately applied white cotton tape binding.
